- Double-Click on the Archive and Extract into /tmp
- Open a Terminal Window
- Relocate Firefox Beta
Login as SuperUser
su
Make a Firefox Directory
mkdir /opt/firefox
Move Firefox Into firefox-Beta so to Prepare for a Possible Firefox Multi-Version Coexistencemv /tmp/firefox /opt/firefox/firefox-beta
Make a Symlink for Easy-Starting
ln -s /opt/firefox/firefox-beta/firefox /usr/local/bin/firefox-beta
Next you Can Start Firefox from Terminal withfirefox-beta
